My Notes Keeper 2.0

My Notes Keeper Editor's Review

'My Notes Keeper' is designed to help you store emails, notes, images, documents, and so on. Just like other document management applications, this program can store files from your computer. It provides an advanced text editor, which is used everywhere in the user interface. Lately, I've tested some very good document management applications. I can say that My Notes Keeper fits well in this category.

The program's user interface is nicely structured. It displays a rather complex toolbar on the main window. You can move the toolbar wherever you want or you can also choose to display it as a floating window. My Notes Keeper provides several features including an "electronic book", a to-do list, an URL organizer, and an address book. The "electronic book" can organize the text you write into chapters and units. The URL organizer allows you to save web links and the address book can store information about your contacts.

Using this program resembles writing an e-mail. The files you attach are displayed on the bottom of the text-editing panel. However, the notes you write can be organized in a tree. This is normal behavior for a document management application, so there's nothing new about it.

Pluses: My Notes Keeper has several useful features that may come in handy. I like that you can password-protect the information you enter. You can also compress the data or export it into a CHM or EXE file.

Drawbacks / flaws:

In conclusion: Just as the name says, My Notes Keeper is a notes editor. It's an average level application that manages documents.
